REVIEW: Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Day-Night Moisturising Skin Cream

Today I want to show you a really quick review about a moisturizing cream I was using for almost a year.

Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Day-Night Moisturizing Skin Cream is part of one of Yves Rocher's most affordable series. I picked it up last year around this time when it was on sale and I paid around 3-4€ for it and I couldn't be any happier.

The cream comes in a squeezable tube and it contains 40 ml of product. The packaging isn't anything fancy but it's small and easy so store. I think this is the old packaging and this cream is now in a pot.

Кремът пристига в изстискваща се тубичка и съдържа 40 мл продукт. Опаковката не е нещо специално, но е малка и лесна за съхранение. Мисля, че това е старата опаковка и вече кремът е в бурканче.

The ingredients aren't anything super special but they're not bad at all. The top active ingredient is Glycerin which is a natural moisturizer. Propylene Glycol is a solvent and moisturizer, Octyldodecanol,  Cyclopentasiloxane and Methylpropanediol are all safe solvents. Ehtylhexyl Cocoate is an emollient. The presence of Talc surprises me, it's usually an oil absorbing ingredient. Cocos Nucifera Oil is a coconut oil, it's a great natural moisturizer. Stearyl Alcohol and Stearic Acid are surfactants. their job is to stabilize the micelles formed by polar and apolar substances. Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil is another surfactant. PEG-100 Stearate is a synthetic surfactant. Cyclohexasiloxane, Silica, Dimethicone and Glyceryl Stearate are also ingredients giving nice texture the cream. Ceteareth-2 phosphate is a synthetic surfactant and it's the only one that scores red in CosDNA. From what I found the main problem is possible contamination. The preservatives are Methylparaben and Propylparaben.

Съставките не са кой знае колко специални, но не са лоши. Главната активна съставка е Glycerin, който е естествен хидратант. Propylene Glycol е солвент и хидрадант, Octyldodecanol, Cyclopentasiloxane и Methylpropanediol са безопасни солвенти. Ehtylhexyl Cocoate е емолиент. Наличието на Talc ме изненадва, по принцип е съставка абсорбираща мазнините. Cocos Nucifera Oil е масло от кокос и е страхотен естествен хидратант. Stearyl Alcohol и Stearic Acid са сърфактанти, тяхната задача е да стабилизират мицелите формирани от полярни и аполярни вещества. Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil също е сърфактант, PEG-100 Stearate е синтетичен сърфъктант. Cyclohexasiloxane, Silica, Dimethicone и Glyceryl Stearate са съставки придаващи приятна текстура на крема. Ceteareth-2 phosphate е синтетечен сърфктант и е единственият, който се появява в червено в CosDNA. От това, което виждам основният проблем с него е възможното му замърсяване. Консервантите са Methylparaben и Propylparaben.

I was using this cream as the last step before sunscreen in my morning routine. It's a very hydrating cream and it was perfect for the not very cold but quite windy South France winter. I was also using it during the summer and unlike the other moisturizer by Yves Rocher Pure Calendula Regenerating Day-Night Cream I am going to review very soon, the Pure Calmille cream didn't make my skin feel greasy and unpleasant when it was hot outside.

Използвах този крем като последна стъпка преди слънцезащитният крем сутрин. Много е хидратиращ и е перфектен за не много студената, но ветровита южнофренска зима. Използвах и го през лятото и за разлика от другия ми крем на Yves Rocher Pure Calendula Regenerating Day-Night Cream, за който също скоро ще пиша, този не правеше кожата ми мазна и неприятна когато навън беше горещо.

The cream is  really easy to spread and it takes only a minute to be properly absorbed by the skin so it doesn't slow me down in the morning. It also works great with all my other morning skincare as well as with my makeup.

Кремът се разнася много лесно и отнема само минута, за да се абсорбира достатъчно от кожата и не ме забавя сутрин. Сработва се чудесно с всички останали продукти, които ползвам сутрин, както и с грима ми.

I wasn't using it constantly but the cream lasted me a good year for only 40 ml so I daresay it's quite economical. The smell is very light and it doesn't bother.

Не го използвах постоянно, но кремът ми издържа за цяла година само с 40 мл и смея да кажа, че е икономичен. Миризмата е много лека и не ме притеснява.

Overall I would recommend this to people looking for a good moisturizer. Ingredients are okay, application is easy and the product is very affordable. Also very often this particular product is on sale 50% off. What I like:  Very affordable (around 8-9€) Reasonable amount of product (40 ml) Good ingredients  Easy application  Light smell  Quite moisturizing  Doesn't my skin greasy What I don't like:  -  All in all: 5/5 I am not very active again but I had exams and then I was on vacation with my family. But haul post with products from Bulgaria and Bordeaux is coming, as well as trip photo posts and Birchbox presentation.

Обобщено, бих го препоръчала на хора, които си търсят добър хидратант. Съставките са добри, нанасянето е лесно, а продуктът е много достъпен. Също много често е с 50% намаление. Какво ми харесва:  Много достъпен (около 8-9 евро) Разумно количестно продукт (40 мл) Добри съставки Лесно нанасяне  Лека миризма Доста подхранващ Не прави кожата ми мазна Какво не ми харесва:  -  Обща оценка: 5/5 Отново не съм много активна, но имах изпити и поскле бях във ваканция със семейството си. Но публикация с нови продукти от България и Бордо е на път, както и публикации със снимки от пътувания и представяне на Birchbox.
