Birchbox France November 2016

I've been delaying uploading this post because I wanted to try all the products, but once I realized that is probably not going to happen soon I decided to go with it as it is.

The box for November came in this weird packaging that made me go what the heck for a moment but the idea is you are supposed to decorate it yourself with the needle and thread in it. Of course I didn't do that because I am awfully lazy but it might be a fun experience if you use the box for storage later as I do.

The theme this month is "Sur le fil" (a French expression that means "just in time" but it's also a pun because "fil" means thread), expected really. This box is overall definitely better than the last one, at least we have some new brands I haven't tried before and a couple of interesting products.

Garancia Source Micellaire Enchantée Eau Démaquillante Micellaire Rose This micellar water has a really strong overwhelming rose scent. I am trying to learn and tolerate rose fragrance but that one is definitely pushing me to my limits. I read pretty much everyone loved this product on the site but I wasn't so impressed. This micellar water burns my skin and it's just really unpleasant to use. On top of that it is really uneconomical because after two uses I am almost done with this travel size. Thankfully though, Size: 30 ml; Price: 14,10€ for 100 ml Anatomicals The Buff Stuff Citrus Body Scrub  Yet another product I didn't love. This scrub is overall too gentle, it doesn't really do much and on top of that the lemon fragrance reminds me of the product I clean my toilet with because it's just as unnatural. I suggest you skip that one! Size: 50 ml; Price: 6€ for 200 ml REN V-Cense Revitalising Night Cream  I haven't tried this product yet because I do have TONS of opened skincare at the moment and it's sealed so I am saving it for later. It looks really promising though! Size: 15 ml; Price: 45€ for 50 ml Amika Nourishing Mask  I haven't tried this hair mask either but Amika's stuff all look so good plus their fragrance is to die for! I really wished we had a bigger sample, something like 50 ml because on my hair that's a single use sample. T_T The full size is so pricey though, I am scared I will love this way too much as I did with their last product (it was a hair oil). Size: 10 ml; Price: 29€ for 250 ml ModelCo Highlighting Trio Champagne | Peach Bellini | Bronze I absolutely fell in love with this product, it's so convenient! I haven't mentioned but I pretty much live in two places now because I visit my boyfriend so often I practically stay there half of the week. Of course at some point I had to have all my skincare and makeup to have a full routine and this is when this product came in! Because of the creamy texture I can apply it and blend it with my fingers so no brushes are needed (as I don't have a backup for all my face brushes). I fell in love with the highlight Champagne, it looks absolutely beautiful on my pale skin! I already own Peach Bellini in powder version but the shades are quite different, however I like both. I even like and sometimes use the bronzer which is very unusual for me but the creamy texture makes it really easy to apply sparingly and blend away. Size: 3,6 g; Price: 16€

Искаше ми се да има по-голяма мостра, нещо като 50 мл, защото на моята коса тази е за еднократна употреба. T_T Пълният размер е толкова скъп, страх ме е, че много ще ми хареса като предишния им продукт (беше олио за коса). Размер: 10 мл; Цена: 29€ за 250 мл ModelCo Highlighting Trio Champagne | Peach Bellini | Bronze Направо се влюбих в този продукт, толкова е удобен! Не съм споменавала, но в момента направо си живея на две места, защото посещавам приятеля ми толкова често, че половината седмица съм у тях. Разбира се, в един момент трябваше да имам цялата ми козметика там, за да си имам пълна рутина и тогава дойде този продукт. Заради кремообразната текстура мога да го нанеса и прелея с пръсти, така че няма нужда от четки (тъй като нямам резервни за всички четки за лице). Влюбих се в хайлайтъра Champagne, стои много красиво на светлата ми кожа! Вече имам Peach Bellini в прахообразен вариант, но двата цвята са доста различни, но пък ми харесват. Дори ми харесва и понякога използвам бронзъра, което е много необичайно за мен, но кремообразната текстура го прави много лесен за леко нанасяне и преливане. Размер: 3,6 гр; Цена: 16€

That was all in the November box. I am thinking of getting the December and calling it quits for a while because I am stuck with awfully a lot of stuff again. The December box will have a LOC lipstick and Birchbox even let us pick the shade so I am definitely getting it. And more about the LOC lipsticks later this year because they are absolutely fantastic and I am preparing a review for you! Have you used any of these products and did you like them?

REVIEW: Yves Rocher Serum Végétal Wrinkles & Radiance Smoothing Care Day

I love Yves Rocher's moisturizers, I don't think you can go wrong with them. I've tried quite a lot of them and I am really motivated to test them all. This is from the Sérum Végétal Wrinkles & Radiance line and it's the Smoothing Care Day Cream.

If I am not mistaken, this line is for 45+ years old but I generally like Yves Rocher's anti-aging creams more than the ones for younger people because they are richer and my normal to dry skin really likes that. I got this cream as a gift with a purchase and I was really excited to try it.

The cream comes in a pretty paper box that contains a massive glass jar. The Yves Rocher creams are anything but travel-friendly because they are so bulky and heavy but they look quite pretty on my shelves so I am not complaining. It's just that the labels rub off but it might be my way of storing them. The Sérum Végétal Wrinkles & Radiance line is in pink and it's similar to another line... so similar I always forget which cream I tested and liked in the store.

After water, the next ingredient is Glycerin which is one of my favorite moisturizers. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is a fragrance and a moisturizer. Dimethicone is an emollient. Methylpropanediol is a solvant. Cetyl Alcohol is a surfactant, viscosity control agent and an emollient. Glycine soja Oil (soybean) and Sesamum indicum Seed Oil (sesame) are both great moisturizers, emollients and fragrances. Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate is an emollient and an emuslifier. Brassica Campestris Seed Oil (rapeseed) is a moisturizer. Centaurea cyanus Flower Water (cornflower) is a moisturizer. Talc is an absorbant and bulking agent. PEG-100 Stearate is a surfactant. Glyceryl Stearate is an emollient and an emulsifier. Acacia senegal gum (Arabic gum) is a viscosity control agent. Aphloia theiformis Leaf Extract (albino-berry) is an astringent. Phenoxyethanol is a preservative. Inositol is component of Lecithin may have water-binding properties. Carbomer is a viscosity control agent. Ethyl Linoleate is an emollient. Xanthan Gum is a viscosity control agent. Lecithin is a moisturizer, an emollient, an emulsifier and an antioxidant. Tocopheryl Acetate (derivative of vitamin E) is an antioxidant and a moisturizer. Sorbic Acid is a preservative. Retinyl Palmitate (derivative of vitamin A) is an antioxidant and it scores in red in CosDNA probably because it can be unstable in certain formulas and it can cause irritation. Sodium Hydroxide is a pH adjuster. BHT is a preservative. Tetrasodium EDTA is a chelating agent. Mesembryanthemum crystallinum Extract (ice plant) is a moisturizer. Sodium Benzoate is preservative. Citric Acid is a pH adjuster. Tocopherol (derivative of vitamin E) is an antioxidant. Potassium Sorbate and Propyl Gallate are preservatives. You can find the ingredients in CosDNA here. The ingredients of this moisturizer are good and as always I have never been disappointed by Yves Rocher and what they put in their products.

The cream is milky white and it has a rather thick texture but it absorbs quickly. I think people with normal to dry and combination skin will find it a good base for makeup. The cream leaves a slight powdery finish when you touch your skin which might be due to the talc in it. I've had similar experience with other day creams. I'm not sure if that helps for oil control for those who need it. Because of this powdery finish, the cream has a slight smoothing effect as it claims and it hides small pores and fine lines but nothing too drastic. It just gives you a fresher face.

Кремът е млечнобял и има по-скоро гъста текстура, но се абсорбира бързо. Мисля, че хората с нормална до суха и комбинирана кожа ще го намерят за добра база за грим. Кремът оставя лек пудрен завършек когато докоснете кожата си и е възможно да е заради талка в него. Имала съм подобен опит и с други дневни кремове. Не съм сигурна дали помага за контрола върху омазняването, за тези, които имат нужда от него. Заради пудрения си завършек, кремът има лек заглаждащ ефект както твърде и прикрива малки пори и фини линии, но нищо драстично. Просто прави лицето по-свежо.

I use this during the day exclusively and it's not because I am such an instructions follower but rather I'm worried the talc might clog my pores if I sleep with it.

Използвам го само през деня и не е защо следвам зорко инструкциите, а защото ме е страх, че талкът може да ми запуши порите, ако спя с него.

I used this moisturizer during the summer. I often used only it and sunscreen after washing my face when in a hurry and my skin still felt pretty hydrated so it does the job for me. Almost all of Yves Rocher's skincare has a nice fragrance and this cream is not exception. It has a pleasant floral fragrance that some people might find too strong but I quite like it.

Използвах този хидратант през лятото. Често го използвах само със слънцезащита след като си измия лицето когато бързах и кожата ми пак си беше хидратирана, така че на мен ми вършеше работа. Почти цялата бяла козметика на Yves Rocher има приятен аромат и този крем не е изключение. Има много приятен флорален аромат, който някои хора може да намерят за силен, но на мен ми харесва.

Did it make my face radiant? Not that I noticed. The cream has a semi-matte natural finish so it doesn't leave my face dewy or radiant but since it's a really decent moisturizer I am definitely not complaining. I noticed this product is not really economical because I got it mid-May and I finished it in October so it only lasted me 5 months while I've had other Yves Rocher moisturizers that lasted way longer but that's probably because I put massive amounts of it most of the time. This cream tends to pill with certain sunscreens, exclusively the ones that have chemical filters but it's not the first moisturizer that does that so I'm willing to blame it on the sunscreen.

I really loved this moisturizer for summer and I would repurchase it. Currently I am using the day cream from the Riche Crème which is much richer but it's doing a great job for winter. I would recommend Sérum Végétal Wrinkles & Radiance Smoothing Care Day to those of you with normal/normal to dry/combo skin who don't mind a little fragrance in your products. EMPTIES: Samples Summer 2016

I really wanted to have separate posts for the samples I use up, especially since lately I've been trying to destash them.

Balea Seelenzart Mask  I always pick up couple of these masks when I go back to Bulgaria. They're nothing special but for 0,50€ a piece, they provide decent hydration and they could be used up to 8 times on my face. SkinFood Egg White Pore Foam  I always keep emergency skincare for unexpected sleepovers in my cosmetic bag and this is when I use up these sample cleansers. This cleanser by SkinFood had a pleasant fragrance but it was way too drying for my taste so I definitely wouldn't buy it. Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask  Samples of this sleeping pack show up every time because I can't afford the full size. This product is amazing, a holy grail for me and I will continue to repurchase it, you can read my detailed review here. Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum  I ordered this on a whim because of some reviews I saw but it honestly does nothing for me. Ingredients list is great but considering the full size product is around $70 and I can name 5 less expensive serums and ampoules that were more effective for me, I will not buy samples of it again although I do have a lot left. The Body Shop Vitamin E Cool BB Cream TBS claim this BB cream is suitable for every skin tone, haha, not really. This BB cream is way too dark and no matter how I apply it, it won't look good on me. On top of that, the texture is not pleasant to work with and the coverage is uneven. I don't like this and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A'Pieu Oriental Balhyo O2 Bubble Deep Cleanser  This cleanser performed better than the SkinFood and it didn't leave my face as dry. Still it didn't impress me and I have other cleansers I want to try more so I wouldn't buy the full-size. Jonzac Eau Thermale Soin Leger Hydratant  Absolutely underwhelming moisturizer, perhaps it targets people with oily skin but this feels more like a serum than a hydrating cream. The fragrance is not pleasant and I wouldn't buy it. Revive Regenerating Face Cream This must be the most disgusting skincare item I have tried lately. The fragrance is absolutely horrific and it doesn't perform good as a moisturizer. You know I love my snails but this one is total NOPE.

Не са нищо специално, но за цена от 1 лв, предлагат прилична хидратация и мога да ги ползвам до 8 пъти на лицето. SkinFood Egg White Pore Foam  Винаги си държа няколко мостри в козметичния несесер за неочаквани приспивания и тогава ползвам тези клийнзъри. Този клийнзър на SkinFood имаше приятен аромат, но беше твърде изсушаващ за моя вкус и не бих го купила. Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask  Мостри на тази маска за спане се появяват постоянно, защото не мога да си позволя пълния размер. Този продукт е невероятен, тотален любимец и ще продължа да си го купувам, можете да видите ревюто ми тук. Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum  Поръчах съвсем наслуки след няколко ревюта, и за мен лично не прави нищо. Съставът е страхотен, но имайки предвид, че пълният размер е $70 мога да изброя поне 5 по-евтини серума и ампули, които са били по-ефективни за мен. Не бих си купила мостри отново, но имам доста останали. The Body Shop Vitamin E Cool BB Cream TBS твърдят, че този BB крем е подходящ за всеки цвят кожа, хаха, всъщност не. Този BB крем е много тъмен и независимо как го нанеса не изглежда добре на мен. Освен това текстурата не е приятна за работа и покритието е неравномерно. Не ми харесва и не бих го препоръчала на никого. A'Pieu Oriental Balhyo O2 Bubble Deep Cleanser  Този клийнзър се справи по-добре то този на SkinFood и не остави лицето ми сухо. Все пак не ме впечатли и има други, които бих искала да пробвам повече, така че не бих го купила. Jonzac Eau Thermale Soin Leger Hydratant  Напълно разочароващ хидратант, може би е насочен към хора с мазна кожа, но се усеща повече като серум, отколкото като крем. Ароматът е приятен и не бих си го купила. Revive Regenerating Face Cream Това сигурно е най-ужасният продукт, който съм пробвала напоследък. Ароматът е абсолютно потресаващ и въобще не работи като хидратант. Обичам си охлювите, но този крем е тотално НЕ.

Sulwhasoo Goa Cream This cream was really impressive! It had the typical pleasant texture and fragrance of Sulwhasoo and it left my face very smooth and hydrated. The full size is as usual awfully expensive but the samples are affordable on eBay. I will most likely buy more of these, since I had only two samples and I couldn't test it thoroughly. Nature Republic Super Origin Complete Control Cream Tinted  This CC cream was unwearable for me since it's too dark, on my N10-15 skin, I'd say it's close to N20-25. It didn't provide much coverage and it doesn't seem like a product that would interest me again. The Face Shop Gold Ampoule Serum I really really liked the texture of this serum although I didn't see any visible results from just one sample. The full-size packaging is a work of art but unfortunately it costs $55 so I think I'll skip. Etude House Correct & Care CC Cream Silky This CC cream is pale enough for it to be wearable for me but it's too pink. I'd place it around NW15. The texture is nice but the coverage is minimal, I have a couple of these samples left but I wouldn't repurchase it. Etude House Face Conditioning Cream  I read such great reviews for this product and that's why I got 20 samples of it. If your skin is normal/dry, it wouldn't impress you. I expected for it to be a great makeup base as well as a moisturizer but it's just another excess layer that personally I don't find the need to apply. Cedia Rice Stem Cell Whitening BB Cream  I have never heard of this brand before. This BB cream was way too dark for me and I can't remember the undertone because I forgot to write it down. Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream  This BB cream is considered to be pale, but I wasn't able to wear it. The undertone is close to neutral, it leans slightly pink. For me, it's a NW20. The coverage is also too high for me. Lioele Beyond The Solution BB Cream  For me, this BB cream is comparable to Triple The Solution but it's slightly darker. Probably around NW25. It has high coverage and it's really easy to apply and blend so those of you with similar skin tone might like it. Yves Rocher Hydra Végétal 24 Intense Hydrating Gel Cream I really loved this cream, and I recently got it full size for my boyfriend. The fragrance is really pleasant and it provides great light hydration. Those of you with oily and/or combo skin will probably really like it.

Очаквах да е страхотна база за грим, както и хидратант, но е просто един излишен слой, който аз не изпитвам нужда да нанасям. Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream  Този BB крем уж е считан за светъл, а аз не можах да го нося. Подтонът е близо до неутрален, леко клони към розов. За мен този продукт е NW20. Покритието също беше твърде високо за мен. Lioele Beyond The Solution BB Cream  За мен, този BB крем е сравним с Triple The Solution, но е леко по-тъмен. Сигурно е към NW25. Има високо покритие и много лесно се нанася и прелива, така че тези от вас с подобен цвят може би ще го харесат. Yves Rocher Hydra Végétal 24 Intense Hydrating Gel Cream Наистина много ми хареса този крем и наскоро го взех в пълен размер за приятеля ми. Ароматът е много приятен и предлага страхотна лека хидратация. Тези с мазна или/и комбинирана кожа сигурно много ще го харесат.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum-In-Oil I believe I have talked to you about this product before. I really liked it, it felt super smooth and hydrating without leaving my skin looking oily or sticky. However the price tag is stopping me from repurchasing it for now. Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream I really like the texture and the application of this BB cream, unfortunately shade-wise it looks quite bad on me. This BB cream looks decently when first applied but an hour later, a really weird grayish undertone shows off and it makes me look like a zombie which is quite weird because most grey BB creams look good on me. It lasts the whole day although it makes my skin look dry after 4-5 hours. Lioele Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream #1 Gorgeous Purple  I wanted to try the green version of this BB but I never got a sample of it. The purple one looks okay in the beginning and then it gradually gets darker during the day. The undertone is neutral though. It would be a good choice for people around N20. Etude House Moistfull Super Collagen CC Cream #N02  This BB cream is slightly darker for me so it's around NC15. As all of the N02 shades by EH this one has a prominent yellow undertone and it wouldn't be my first choice as a neutral. The texture and the dewyness of this BB cream make it a really good choice for people with normal/dry skin. Lioele Super Gold Snail BB Cream #21 Natural Beige This BB cream was so dark, it wasn't wearable for me. The shade is at least NW25 and I just swatched the sample and threw it away. Etude House Silk Scarf Damaged Care Hair Ampule I bought these ampoules a really long time ago and it was about time to use them up. They weren't anything impressive, just a regular conditioner that smelled nice. I wouldn't repurchase them.  Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Cotton Fit #W13  This BB cream was way too dark for me and it was way too orange, I only swatched it and threw it away.  Yves Rocher Sérum Végétal Wrinkles & Firmness Day This was a great moisturizer, this collection is great for people with dry skin. I had a similar cream from Sérum Végétal that I recently used up. Elishacoy Always Triple BB Cream  This BB cream is way too dark and way too pink. I threw away the sample since I couldn't use it. Missha Super Aqua Ultra Moistfull Cream This is was a nice moisturizer, it had really strong watery fragrance. I think I have some more samples of it. I wouldn't get it in full size because it's nothing impressive.  Biolyn 24h Anti Wrinkle Firming Cream This cream was horrible. The texture was icky and it smelled horrendous. The summer sample empties appear mid November, I am kinda very late but I'm trying, I promise! Tell me if you've used any of these products and what did you think of them!

Но цената ме спира за си го купя засега. Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream Много ми харесва текстурата и нанасянето на този BB крем, но като цвят не е добър за мен. Този BB крем изглежда прилично първоначално, но час по-късно добива много странен сив подтон и ме прави да изглеждам като зомби, което е доста странно, защото повечето сиви BB кремове ми стоят добре. Издържа цял ден, но прави кожата ми за изглежда суха след 4-5 часа. Lioele Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream #1 Gorgeous Purple  Много исках да пробвам зелената версия на този BB крем, но не съм получавала мостра на нея. Лилавата в началото изглежда добре и постепенно става по-тъмна през деня. Подтонът е неутрален. Би бил добър избор за хората около N20. Etude House Moistfull Super Collagen CC Cream #N02  Този BB крем е мъничко по-тъмен за мен, така че е около NC15. Както всички N02 цветове на EH и този има силен жълт подтон и не би бил първият ми избор като неутрален. Текстурата и сияйността на този BB крем го правят доста добър избор за хора с нормална/суха кожа. Lioele Super Gold Snail BB Cream #21 Natural Beige Този BB крем беше толкова тъмен, че е неносим за мен. Цветът му е поне NW25 и само суочнах мострата и я изхвърлих. Yves Rocher Sérum Végétal Wrinkles & Firmness Day Това е страхотен хидратант, тази колекция е прекрасна за хора със суха кожа. Имах подобен крем от Sérum Végétal, който наскоро използвах. Elishacoy Always Triple BB Cream  Този BB крем беше твърде тъмен и твърде розов. Изхвърлих мострата веднага, защото не можех да го ползвам. Missha Super Aqua Ultra Moistfull Cream Това е приятен хидратант, имаше много силен воднист аромат. Мисля, че имам още мостри от него. Не бих го взела в пълен размер, защото не е нищо впечатляващо. Biolyn 24h Anti Wrinkle Firming Cream Този крем беше ужасен. Текстурата беше неприятна и миришеше отвратително. Летните празни мостри се появяват в средата на ноември, някак си съм супер закъсняла, но се опитвам, честно! Кажете ми, ако сте пробвали някои от тези продукти и какво мислите за тях!

October was the breast cancer awareness month so the box came in pink.

The products inside weren't as interesting as usually, except for the blush brush that I got to pick before I received the box.

Kneipp Morning Kiss Douche Foam  I was really excited about getting this! The foam shower gels seem the be the new craze and I am falling for it! I picked this one for my trip in Bulgaria and pretty much barely used it because I came back with literally a suitcase full of new body products but the thing is this shower foam is really convenient for traveling because you don't need sponge or a foaming net. It makes the perfect soft foam and it's super pleasant to use. It also smells incredible so I'd definitely get one of these again, even if it's not the same fragrance! Size: 50 ml; Price: 9,90€ for 200 ml Avène Soothing Moisture Mask  Okay, I am really not that thrilled to received an Avène product. I might have been years ago but right now the French pharmacy brands are so boring and uninteresting (because they're easily available of course!) that this product made me go meh the moment I saw it. So this is your regular wash off cream hydrating mask, it's Avène so it's fragrance-free which might make you really happy if you are sensitive to fragrances or allergic but for me it just made the product even more uninteresting. I've used it 2 or 3 times already and it's a decent hydrating mask (but so are the Balea ones for less than 0,50€ each) I would never pay this crazy price for it. Size: 50 ml; Price: 16,70€ Thermaliv Hydractiv Night Cream  I've received plenty of stuff by this brand if you check the Thermaliv tag. It's yet another French brand I am not particularly excited for. This cream barely has any fragrance, it has a light texture and it gets absorbed super quickly. The brand says it's for dry and dehydrated skin but this product is so light it's on the verge of being a whipped essence so I definitely need to layer with something on top as a sleeping pack. Might be a good option for those who are oily/dehydrated though. Size: 15 ml ; Price: 17,90€ for 50 ml Arrow Sculpt Tinted Brow Gel   I received a brow gel by Benefit last month so I wasn't all that excited to receive on more. I've never heard of the brand Arrow before. This brow gel is one a little bit too light for me as a shade (and it's only offered in one shade) and two a little bit too glossy for my taste. The instructions say to apply it on the brows and leave it to dry for 10 minutes but even when it's dry it's still looking glossy... It might be good for someone who is blond/light brunette and has really great eyebrows to begin with that they just want to fix but for me and my eyebrow absence it doesn't make the cut. I still need an eyebrow pencil or a powder to fill my brows and I only use this because I am one stubborn blogger who doesn't wanna throw away a product. (And I can't think of anyone who would use this so I could give it to them.) Size: 3,4 g ; Price: 15€ IBY Beauty Angled Blush Brush  Birchbox gave us the choice to pick between this brush and a flat foundation brush and since I already had a flat foundation brush plus I wear foundation like 5 times per month, I decided to go for this one. I was thinking how I need to pick the proper small and angled highlighter brush and this one turn out to be perfect. I am pretty much using this every time I am using a powder highlighter now and I am super happy with the functionality and quality. It doesn't shed and it's easy to wash. Price: 22€

Взех го за пътуването ми в България и почти не го използвах, защото се върнах с буквално цял куфар продукти за тяло, но този тип пяна за душ са много практички за пътувания, защото нямате нужда от гъба. Прави перфектна мека пяна и е много приятен за употреба. Ухае невероятно, така че определено бих си взела един от тези отново, дори и да не е точно същият аромат! Размер: 50 мл; Цена: 9,90€ за 200 мл Avène Soothing Moisture Mask  Въобще не съм чак толкова въодушевена да получа продукт на Avène.  Може би бих била преди години, но сега френската аптечна козметика е толкова скучна и безинтересна (защото ги има навсякъде, разбира се!), че този продукт ме отегчи още щом го видях. Това е типичната хидратираща маска с отмиване, говорим за Avène, така че е без аромати, което може би ще ви зарадва, ако сте чувствителни или алергични, но за мен направи продукта още по-скучен. Използвала съм я 2 или 3 пъти и прилична хидратираща маска (но такива са и тези по левче на Balea), обаче не бих платила тази висока цена за нея. Размер: 50 мл; Цена: 16,70€ Thermaliv Hydractiv Night Cream  Получавала съм много неща на тази марка, ако проверите тага Thermaliv. Това е още едно френска марка, която не ме вдъхновява особено. Този крем почти няма аромат, има лека текстура и се абсорбира много бързо. Марката твърди, че е за суха и дехидратирана кожа, но продукта е толкова лек, че почти е кремообразна есенция, така че определено ми трябва да го наслоя с маска за спане. Може би ще е добра опция за тези които са по-скоро мазни/дехидратирани. Размер: 15 мл ; Цена: 17,90€ за 50 мл Arrow Sculpt Tinted Brow Gel   Получих гел за вежди на Benefit миналия месец, така че не се зарадвах на още един. Никога не съм чувала за марката Arrow преди. Този гел за вежди е едно малко по-светъл за мен (а се предлага само в един цвят) и две твърде лъскав за моя вкус. Инструкциите казват да го нанесем на веждите и да го оставим да изсъхне за 10 минути, но дори и тогава пак си е лъскав... Може би ще е добър за някой рус/светлокестеняв, който има страхотни вежди и иска само да ги фиксира, но с моята липса на вежди въобще не става. Все още ми трябва молив или пудра да си запълня веждите и го използвам само, защото съм доста инат блогър, който не иска да изхвърля продукта. (И не се сещам за никого на когото да го подаря.) Размер: 3,4 гр ; Цена: 15€ IBY Beauty Angled Blush Brush  Birchbox ни даде избор между тази четка и плоска четка за фон дьо тен, и тъй като вече си имам плоска четка за фон дьо тен, а и нося фон дьо тен около 5 пъти в месеца, реших да си взема тази. Мислех си как ми трябва правилната малка и извита четка за хайлайтър и тази се оказа идеална. Използвам я всеки път когато нанасям прахообразен хайлайтър и съм много доволна от функционалността и качеството. Не се скубе и се мие лесно. Цена: 22€

REVIEW: Etude House Baby Choux Base #01 Mint Choux

Etude House Baby Choux Base were a hit product when they came out few years ago, first they were sold in glass tubs but now they are only available in the squeezable tube you see. The Baby Choux base is a color correcting base and it comes in 3 shades - green (Mint Choux), pink (Berry Choux) and peach (Peach Choux).

Etude House Baby Choux Base бяха хитов продукт когато излязоха преди няколко години, първо се продаваха в стъклени буркани, а сега ги има само в тубичката, която виждате. Baby Choux базата е коригираща цвета и се предлага в 3 цвята - зелен (Mint Choux), розов (Berry Choux) и прасковен (Peach Choux).

Etude House have the cutest packaging as always! The base contains 35 g of product and I got mine for around $7 with delivery on eBay. The base is super economical, I have mine for a year and a half and I still have at least half of it left.

Etude House имат най-сладурската опаковка както винаги! Базата съдържа 35 гр продукт и аз си взех моята за около $7 в eBay. Базата е много икономична, имам моята от около година и половина и все още ми е останала поне половината.

The green base is used to conceal redness however I am using it in another way. I had just gotten KIKO Liquid Skin Foundation #20 Cool Rose and I absolutely loved the formula so I had to figure out how to make it wearable for me because it has very prominent pink undertone not suitable for neutral skin at all. And I had the idea I could neutralize it if I mixed it with green base.

Тъкмо си бях взела KIKO Liquid Skin Foundation #20 Cool Rose и страшно много харесвах формулата, така че трябваше да измисля как да мога да го нося, защото има много силен розов подтон, който не е подходящ за неутрална кожа. И ми дойде идеята да го неутрализирам като го смеся със зелена база.

Cyclopentasiloxane is a solvent and emollient and it's often found in face products because it gives them a nice texture. Methyl Trimethicone is a silicone and an emollient. Titanium Dioxide is a pigment and UVA/UVB filter. Glycerin is a solvent and a moisturizer. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate is an UVA/UVB filter. Dicaprylyl Carbonate is an emollient. Dimethicone Crosspolymer is a viscosity control agent. Butylene Glycol is a solvent and a moisturizer. Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/ 1 Dimethicone is an emulsifier. Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/ Dicaprate is an emollient. Silica is a viscosity control agent. Zinc Oxide is an UVA/UVB filter. Disteardimonium Hectorite and Sodium Chloride are viscosity control agents. PEG-10 Dimethicone and Cetyl Ethylhexanoate are surfactants and n emollients. Dimethicone is an emollient. The base is super pigmented and it has a really thick consistency which is why it's great for mixing it with foundations and BB creams because it doesn't mess up the coverage. I mix it with foundations and BB creams that aren't the right shade until I have one that is neutral enough for me. It also lightens the product a tiny little bit which doesn't bother me because in the case of KIKO's foundation it's also a tad darker. I also use it with Hema Foundation #02 which is on the yellow side and I didn't think it will work out but surprisingly when mixed with the right amount of this base, it becomes perfect too.

Базата е страшно пигментирана и има много гъста консистенция, което я прави страхотна за смесване с фон дьо тени и BB кремове, защото не им разваля покритието. Аз я смесвам с фон дьо тени и BB кремове, които не са в правилният нюанс, докато не получа такъв, който е достатъчно неутрален за мен. Също леко изстветлява продукта, което не притеснява, защото в случая с фон дьо тена на KIKO, той е и леко по-тъмен. Използвам я и за Hema FOundation #02, който е жълтеещ и не мислех, че ще се сработят, но изненадващо, когато се смеси правилното количество с базата, и той става идеален.

The base doesn't interfere with the foundations' longevity, in fact it probably makes them last longer. My face doesn't get oily so I can't say anything about the oil control but the base doesn't accentuate dry patches and fine lines.

Базата не променя трайността на фон дьо тените, всъщност сигурно ги прави малко по-издръжливи. Лицето ми не се омазнява и не мога да кажа нищо за контрола върху омазняването, но базата не подчертава сухи участъци и фини линии.

On the photos below I have applied KIKO Liquid Skin Foundation #20 Cool Rose on its own and the same foundation mixed with the base. I have used more than the quantity I normally use, that's why my hand has a slightly green cast. I just wanted to make sure the difference is visible on the photos because that KIKO foundation looks much better on photos than it does in real life. In real life it makes me quite sunburned looking. The base gets rid of the pink undertone and makes it a perfect shade for me. Also it's great I can mix it depending on how my skin looks at the moment, which means minor skin color variations during the summer are not a problem.

На снимките по-долу съм нанесла KIKO Liquid Skin Foundation #20 Cool Rose самостоятелно, както и същият фон дьо тен смесен с базата. Използвала съм повече от обикновено, затова и на ръката ми има лек зелен отенък. Исках да съм сигурна, че разликата се вижда на снимки, защото фон дьо тена на KIKO изглежда много по-добре на снимки, от колкото на живо. На живо ме кара да изглеждам леко поизгоряла. Базата премахва розовият подтон и го прави идеален цвят за мен. Страхотно е също, че си я смесвам различно всеки път, което значи, че дори и да ми се промени цвета на кожата през лятото, това не е проблем.

Neutral people will understand me when I say it's incredibly hard to find shades that are suitable but I think with this base and eventually the pink one you can make a lot of foundations work for you. The base doesn't make the application any harder than it is and the coverage is only slightly lowered but I wear light to medium coverage products most of the time so that's definitely not an issue for me. Somehow I have managed to make wearable even warm products with this base although I still want to get the pink one and experiment with both.

Неутралните хора като мен ще ме разберат когато кажа, че е много трудно да се намери подходящия нюанс, но мисля, че с тази база и евентуално розовата, можете да накарате доста фон дьо тени да ви паснат. Базата не прави нанасянето по-трудно, а покритието е само малко по-слабо, но тъй като нося продукти с леко до средно покритие, за мен не е проблем. Някак си успявам да нося дори топли продукти с тази база, въпреки че все още искам да си взема и розовата и да експериментирам и с двете.

I now consider the color bases as a necessity for every makeup addict and in this case Etude House managed to make a very affordable product with fantastic quality so I absolutely recommend it! What I like: Adorable packaging Very affordable (around $7) Reasonable amount of product (35 g) Easy to apply and blend Super economical Very pigmented  Doesn't accentuate dry patches/fine lines Comes with SPF 35 Works great with different formulas   What I don't like:  -  All in all: 5/5 Do you have any favorite bases/primers? I'm the person who regularly skips the primer step except when it comes to products like this one that actually improve the base makeup drastically.

Birchbox France September 2016

I am a little bit late with showing you the anniversary Birchbox but because of migraine crisis my computer time has been quite limited these past two weeks.

Малко закъснявам с отварянето на юбилейната Birchbox, но заради периоди на мигрена, времето на компютъра ми беше доста ограничено през последните две седмици.

The anniversary box came with another box as a gift, one of the past boxes for this year. I got February's box which I already had. I think I canceled my subscription right after I got it and it's a shame I didn't receive one of the boxes I missed but nevertheless I quite like what I got inside.

Polaar Polar Night Revitalizing Cream. I am really happy to received this cream again. It's a lovely sleeping pack for winter, the fragrance is nice, the texture is thick but it doesn't leave a sticky film. This is quite expensive and I already have a sleeping pack I love so I won't be getting but I'll gladly use it again.  Size: 30 ml; Price: 42,90€ for 50 ml  Thermaliv Thermal Mud Wrap From Balaruc-Les-Bains. At first I thought this is a clay mask and I slapped on the face and good I decided to check the instructions right away because it turned out it is not meant to be used on the face. It's a body mask you have to warm up to 40C. This is quite messy and I honestly don't see myself first warming that up, then putting it on my body.  Size: 50 ml; Price: 15,90€ for 250 ml Rich Miracle Renew CC Shampoo. I used half of my previous sample and well, it's a decent shampoo but so are most shampoos. It smells nice, it washes my hair and it doesn't irritate my scalp. Would I pay 15€ for it? Absolutely not. Size: 30 ml; Price: 14,90€ for 250 ml LOC Vibrant Matte Lipstick #Uncorked. I had this lipstick in the previous box. I recently lost my makeup bag and I was super sad because the season for it had just come. This lipstick is fantastic! The shade is absolutely beautiful dark berry with red undertone which is quite hard to find. The lipstick itself is beautifully matte and it doesn't budge all day. I can spend 8 hours with it on while eating and drinking in the mean time and it's still there looking good. On top of that it doesn't dry out my lips like a lot of matte lippies do so it's an absolute holy grail. The brand has 3 shades one of which is an unwearable for me nude but the other one is a lovely classic red which I already ordered. I am thinking of reviewing this lipstick for the blog because it's been a while since I've been this impressed. Size: 0,6 g; Price: 8,50€  Essonce Squalane Oxygen Regenerating Cream | Cleanser | Moisturizing Lotion. My cleanser came smashed and it had leaked and got all the products messy and there's not much left in it. This is a Taiwanese brand and as always I am super excited to receive anything AB. The brand seems to be quite niche since I can only find it in Birchbox. These products are all quite pricey so I expect them to perform exceptionally, especially since squalane is a really great ingredient for dehydrated skin. The cream is nice, it has a really weird super thick almost glue-like texture. The moisturizing lotion which is something between a toner and a first essence in my opinion, is excellent, it provides light hydration and it leaves my skin prepared for the next step. I only tried the cleanser once so far and it did what any cleanser should do, cleanse my face without leaving it dry.  Size: 5 ml | 5 ml | 5 ml; Price: 69€ | 26€ | 36€ for 28 ml | 120 ml | 200 ml

Polaar Polar Night Revitalizing Cream. Много се радвам, че получавам този крем отново. Страхотна маска за спане е през зимата, ароматът е приятен, текстурата е гъста, но не остава лепкав филм. Доста е скъп, а и вече имам маска за спане, която обожавам, така че няма да си го взема отново, но ще го използвам с удоволствие.  Размер: 30 мл; Цена: 42,90€ за 50 мл Thermaliv Thermal Mud Wrap From Balaruc-Les-Bains. Първоначално си помислих, че това е глинена маска и си намазах лицето, и добре че се сетих да проверя инструкциите веднага, защото се оказа, че не трябва да се ползва на лице. Това е маска за тяло, която трябва да се затопли до 40C. Цветът е много красива тъмна боровинка с червен подтон, който се намира досто трудно. Самото червило е прекрасно матово и не мърда по цял ден. Мога да прекарам 8 часа с него докато хапвам и пийвам междувременно и все още изглежда добре. И освен това не ми изсушава устните както правят много матови червила, затова си е тотално попадение. Марката предлага общо 3 цвята, един от които е неносим за мен нюд, но другият е красиво класическо червено, което вече си поръчах. Марката изглежда доста непопулярна, тъй като я намирам само в Birchbox. Тези продукти все са доста скъпи и очаквам да се справят блестящо, особено след като скуалан е страхотна съставка за дехидратирана кожа. Кремът е много приятен, има странна много гъста консистенция, почти като лепило. Хидратиращият лосион, който е нещо между тоник и първа есенция, е прекрасен, предлага лека хидратация и подготвя кожата ми за следващата стъпка. Пробвах клийнзъра само веднъж и направи това, което всеки клийнзър трябва да прави, почисти лицето ми без да го изсуши.  Размер: 5 мл| 5 мл | 5 мл; Цена: 69€ | 26€ | 36€ за 28 мл | 120 мл | 200 мл

The September box came with a different design, it's smaller than usual and I don't like it because it makes it completely useless for storing items. I use the rest of the boxes to store sheet masks, hair accessories, jewelery, etc but this one is going to be thrown away.

In the box I found the following items: Revlon Professional Uniq All In One Hair Treatment Lotus. The packaging of this product really looked like a glue to me at first glance. I already had the chance to use this several times and I can't say it does much for my hair but the fragrance it leaves is really nice.  Size: 9 ml ; Price: 16,90€ for 150 ml  Rituals The Ritual Of Sakura Magic Touch Body Cream. I already received the shower gel from this collection once and I absolutely loved it! This is a fantastic body cream, it's rich and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and silky. I love everything cherry blossom related so the fragrance is a dream for me! I am definitely getting the full size once I use up some body creams. I am also interested in the The Ritual Of Dao.  Size: 75 ml; Price: 17,50€ for 200 ml  Huygens La Crème Visage Supernature. Huygens is one of the brands I am particularly interested in. This cream has that typical herbal scent that might be too strong for some people (personally I am on the verge). The cream has a light texture but once applied it leaves a film. I didn't notice doing something special about my face from the couple of times I have tried it but it's nice light to medium moisturizer.  Size: 10 ml; Price: 27,90€ for 75 ml Peony Cosmetics Lipstick #Simona. I think this is one of Birchbox's brands. The packaging is super cute and I was excited about it but first of all Simona is a pale pastel pink which looks horrendous on me. On top of that the lipstick doesn't apply evenly and it looks super patchy. The fragrance is disastrous and it smells like a lipstick I got from the Chinese "Everything for 2€" store. The other two shades are quite pretty but nevertheless this is product I do not see myself using. Birchbox, do you really think you can slap "cruelty free and vegan" on such a cheap horrendous product and sell it for 17€!?  Size: 3,6 g; Price: 17€  Wear Lemonade Scarf Le Mini Dalida. I said I don't like the designs of this brand but this scarf is quite lovely and I found myself wearing it a lot since I got it. I love scarves so this was definitely a nice touch. Again, I only find it weird that such a not exceptional quality scarf would be sold for 20€.  Size: 90cm x 90cm; Price: 20€

Този крем има типичния аромат на билки, който може да бъде твърде силен за някои хора (лично аз съм на ръба). Кремът има лека текстура, но веднъж нанесен оставям филм. Не забелязах да прави нещо специално за лицето ми, от няколкото пъти, които съм го ползвала, но е приятен лек до среден хидратант.  Размер: 10 мл; Цена: 27,90€ за 75 мл Peony Cosmetics Lipstick #Simona. Мисля, че това е една от марките на Birchbox. Опаковката е супер сладка и нямах търпение да го пробвам, но Simona е бледо пастелно розово, което на мен изглежда ужасяващо. Освен това, червилото не се нанася равномерно и стои на парцали. Ароматът е отвратителен и мирише на червило, което съм си купила от китайския "Всичко за 2€" магазин. Другите два цвята са хубави, но така или иначе не се виждам да използвам продукта. Birchbox, наистина ли си мислите, че можете да сложите "cruelty free и веган" на такъв евтин ужасен продукти и да го продавате за 17€? Размер: 3,6 гр; Цена: 17€ Wear Lemonade Scarf Le Mini Dalida. Казах, че не ми харесват дизайните на тази марка, но този шал е много приятен и го носех доста често откакто го получих. Обожавам шалове, така че това беше приятна изненада. Отново, намирам за странно, че шал с неособено добро качество се продава за 20€.  Размер: 90см x 90см; Цена: 20€
