REVIEW: Vivant Skincare Green Tea Antioxidant Cleanser

At last I have some time to do the review for the Green Tea Antioxidant Cleanser by Vivant Skincare. Few months earlier Vivant Skincare offered to send me some products for review and one of them is this cleanser. They picked the products specifically for my skin type for which I am very grateful. You can find this cleanser here. Vivant Skincare are a very professional skincare brand and their products usually target a specific problem. Before buying their products you can also consult their online advisors and they will recommend you products specific for your skin. I find this type of service extremely interesting and it's a shame I haven't seen anything like this in Europe yet.

This cleanser is for all skin types and it's especially suitable for dry and sensitive skin. It comes in beautiful white packaging and it contains 236 ml of product (always funny converting oz to ml). I really like the style of the packaging, it reminds me of the French pharmacy brands I like.

Този клийнзър е за всички видове кожа и особено подходящ за суха и чувствителна кожа. Пристига в красива бяла опаковка и съдържа 236 мл (винаги е забавно да се конвертират унции в мл). Много ми харесва стила на опаковката и ми напомня на френските марки от аптеката.

I uploaded the ingredients to CosDNA and you can see them here. The surfactant is Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, which among the sulfates is the most gentle one. Glycerin is a moisturizer. Propylene Glycol is a solvant. Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate is a very gentle surfactant. Japanese Green Tea is proven to soothe the skin and calm redness, it's also often used in anti acne products. Butylene Glycol is a solvent. The Grape Extract is often used for its antioxidant properties. Kiwi Extract is also used for its antioxydant and anti aging properties. Honey is a moisturizer. Hydroxyethylcellulose is a gelling and thickening agent. Carbomer is an emulsifier. Sodium Hydroxide is a pH adjuster. Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben and Propylparaben are all preservatives. Blue 1 and Yellow 5 are pigments. All ingredients are safe according to CosDNA. The ingredients are really good for a cleanser.

Propylene Glycol е разтворител. Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate е много нежен сърфъктант. Japanese Green Tea е доказано успокояващ зачервявания, а и често си използва в анти акне продукти. Butylene Glycol е разтворител. Grape Extract често се използва като антиоксидант. Kiwi Extract също се ползва заради антиоксидантните и противостареещите си свойствата.  Honey е хидратант. Hydroxyethylcellulose е желиращ и сгъстяващ агент. Carbomer е емулсифиант. Sodium Hydroxide е pH регулатор. Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben и Propylparaben все са консерванти. Blue 1 и Yellow 5 са пигменти. I tested the pH with strips bought from eBay (which aren't very precise) and it shows a pH of around 5 and it makes the product slightly acidic. Slightly acidic cleansers are much more gentle than the rest and if you have sensitive skin I'd recommend you trying one. Personally, I don't find cleansers with pH of 8-9 too harsh. The product is thin and liquid gel, very easy to spread, although it doesn't foam much. The green tea fragrance is amazing (cannot help but adore it as a tea lover) and the gel has a transparent green color which is also a nice touch. The cleanser is super gentle and it doesn't leave my face dry at all. Currently I've been using it in the morning but I also tried it in the evening it removes makeup leftovers (except for mascara) perfectly. This cleanser is perfect for my normal / dry-prone skin and it doesn't leave it flaky, irritated or dull. Unlike most people, I am normally not super picky when it comes to cleansers, but this one is impressed me because I love everything about the formula.

Леко киселинните клийнзъри са много по-нежни от останалите и ако имате чувствителна кожа ви препоръчвам да пробвате такъв. На мен лично не ми пречат клийнзъри с pH от 8-9. Продуктът е течен гел, много лесен за нанасяне, въпреки че не се пени добре. Ароматът на зелен чай е страхотен (не мога да не го обожавам като любител на чая), а гелът има прозрачен зелен цвят, който също е приятна добавка. Клийнзърът е много нежен и изобщо не изсушава. В момента го използвам сутрин, но го пробвах и вечер и изчиства остатъци от грим (без спирала) перфектно. Този клийнзър е идеален за нормалната ми склонна към изсушаване кожа и не я оставя белеща се, раздразнена или повяхнала. За разлика от повечето хора, по принцип не съм придирчива към клийнзърите, но този ме впечатли, защото всичко във формулата ми допада.

I adore this cleanser and if there is one single thing I have to complain about, it's the price tag, 30$ for a cleanser is a bit too much for me right now but nevertheless when I can afford it I would definitely repurchase it. Thankfully this bottle will last me quite a long time because the product is super economical and only a pea size amount is enough for my whole face. If you are looking for a good cleanser for sensitive and dry prone skin and you are in the US (because duh, delivery prices!), I highly recommend this one! What I like:  Stylish packaging Huge amount of product (236 ml)  Super economical  Good ingredients Amazing fragrance  Super gentle  Doesn't dry out my skin pH-friendly  What I don't like:  Expensive (~$30)  All in all: 5/5 As I said, I easily like cleansers but this one is the most stable 5/5 I've given so far.  Have you tried a very impressive cleanser lately? Обожавам този клийнзър и ако има едно нещо, от което бих се оплакала, това е цената, $30 за клийнзър е твърде много за мен в момента, но така или иначе бих си го поръчала отново когато мога да си го позволя. За щастие това шише ще издържи дълго време, тъй като количество колкото грахово зърно е достатъчно за цялото лице. Ако си търсите добър клийнзър за чувствителна или склонна към изсушаване кожа и сте в САЩ (заради доставката!), силно препоръчвам този!
