Glossybox France September 2016

I received Glossybox for September today and I am super excited to show it to you because I absolutely love it! I also got last month's Glossybox but I didn't have the time to take photos and make a post. The box was really convincing though!

I opened the box today and wow! So many cool stuff! Is that a brush cleaning tool? I wanted  one for ages!

Inside this box we found: A secret product! It's a shampoo and it's produced in the UK by Procter & Gamble, Glossybox says it was just launched. I definitely wanna find out what it is now! It smells good, will be tested as soon as possible. I have received a hair conditioner by Aussie in this same packaging and the brand is owned by P&G so I'm pretty convinced it's them. I checked their site and the ingredients are very similar to their shampoos but it's not there yet. So perhaps it is about to launched?  Size: 75 ml; Price ??? The Vintage Cosmetic Company Brush Cleaning Tool. I really wanted such tool because it makes brush washing much quicker and easier. Will be tested tonight.  Price: 7,50€ Académie Dermo-Hydrating Fluid. This product is fragrance-free. The ingredients look good, will be used. I needed a new AM moisturizer. The product contains allantoin, calming ingredient. Size: 15 ml; Price: 34,20€ for 50 ml Universal Beauty Cosmetics Secret Flush #04 Nectar. It's a Taiwanese brand and I can't wait to test thoroughly. I tried it on my cheeks today and it's a beautiful peachy color. Not sure how it will work out as a lip stain though. The packaging is adorable! Size: 4,5 g; Price: 18€ Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Woooow, Glossybox sent us a full size of this cult favorite mascara! Of course I am really excited to try it. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! I never really talk to you about mascara but I might review this one.   Size: 4,8 g; Price: 23€

Това е тайванска марка и нямам търпение да го пробвам обстойно. Пробвах го на бузите днес и е много красив прасковен цвят. Не съм сигурна, че ще ми хареса като стейн за устни обаче. Опаковката е много сладуреста! Размер: 4,5 гр; Цена: 18€ Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Уооооу, Glossybox са ни изпратили пълноразмерна култува спирала! I don't know about you but I am really happy with the box this month. Glossybox have definitely stepped up their game! When I first subscribed in 2013 they often sent products that didn't interest me at all or I couldn't use them because they didn't correspond to my beauty profile. Now the last two boxes I got are absolutely fantastic and both times it felt like Christmas time when I opened them. I am also waiting for the special 6-year anniversary Birchbox this month (it will be two boxes actually) and I will show it to you as soon as I get it.

REVIEW: Yves Rocher Nutritive Végétal Creamy Repair Mask

I've been meaning to review this mask for at least a year but as Autumn is here already and the weather got colder, this might be the perfect timing to post this review.

This mask is part of the Nutritive Végétal series which targets people with dry to very dry skin. My skin is rather normal/dry as you know but I really love using products for dry skin when it gets cold. Check out my review for the Velvety Toner from the same collection which is so far my most favorite hydrating toner. The Creamy Repair Mask has a new packaging because YR updated their entire skincare collection last winter if I am not mistaken. The packaging is now white and yellow for this series. I like both and I don't see that much of a difference design-wise. The squeezable tube is very convenient because you can get all the product out, it's light and easy to travel with and it's also practical for storing on my shelf. The mask comes with 75 ml of product and the full price is 13,90 but I got this with 50% off discount as usual.

Creamy Repair Mask има нова опаковка, защото YR ъпдейтнаха цялата бяла козметика миналата зима, ако не се лъжа. Опаковката сега е в бяло и жълто за тази колекция. И двете ми харесват и не виждам разлика в дизайна. Изстискващата се тубичка е много удобна, защото можете да изкарате целия продукт, лека е и се пренася лесно, а и удобна за съхраняване на етажерката. Маската съдържа 75 мл продукт, а пълната цена е 13,90€, но аз си а взех с 50% намаление както обикновено.

Coco-Caprylate/Caprate is an emollient. Glycerin is a solvent and a moisturizer. Methylpropanediol is a solvent. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is an emollient, emulsifier and a fragrance. Butirospermum parkii Butter (shea) is a moisturizer and an emollient and my skin loves it. Stearyl Alcohol is a surfactant and a viscosity control agent, it could be irritating for some people. Macadamia ternifolia Seed Oil is an emollient. Butylene Glycol is a moisturizer and a solvent. Glyceryl Stearate is an emollient and an emulsifier. Dimethicone is an emulsifier. PEG-100 Stearate is a surfactant. Hamamelis virginiana Leaf Extract is an astringent and supposedly an antioxidant, some people can find it irritating. Sorbitan Stearate is an emulsifier. Phenoxyethanol is a preservative. Sodium Polyacrylate is a viscosity control agent. Salicylic Acid is an AHA, it's an exfoliant and whitening ingredient but I highly doubt it's effective in this mask because of the pH. Titanium Dioxide is a pigment and sunscreen, the mask leaves a super white cast when applied which I assume is because of it. Acrylates/ C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer is a viscosity control agent. Sodium Hydroxide is a pH adjuster. Xanthan Gum is a viscosity control agent. Tocopheryl Acetate is a derivative of vitamin E, it's a moisturizer and an antioxidant. Allantoin is an ingredient that soothes red and inflamed skin due it to its anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties. Tetrasodium EDTA is a chelating agent. Fraxinus ornus Sap Extract (manna ash) is a moisturizer. Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate are preservatives. Citric Acid is a pH adjuster. You can find the ingredients in cosDNA here.

I'm using this mask when my skin needs a little "pick me up" because it provides really great moisture and I always find my dull tired skin is much softer and it looks much nicer after use. I have been using this on a daily basis when I was having especially tough time (flakiness, constant dryness) and it helps resolve the problem within few days.

Използвам тази маска когато кожата ми има нужда от нещо енергизиращо, защото предлага много добра хидратация и винаги уморената ми кожа е много по-мека и изглежда много по-добре след употреба. Използвала съм я и всеки ден в особено трудните времена (белене, постоянна сухота) и помага за разрешението на проблема за няколко дни.

The mask has a really thick texture and when applied it leaves a white film on my face. It usually takes it 10 minutes to get absorbed but the protective film stays on which is why I often stay between 30 and 45 minutes with it. After washing it off my skin is really soft and hydrated. Yves Rocher recommend to remove the excess with cotton pad (you could use your toner) but I prefer to wash it off because the white film is not what I want to go to bed with.

This is definitely my favorite moisturizing wash off mask ever. I have been using it for about a year and I am going to repurchase it once I use it up. I think people like me who suffer from dryness would love this because it instantly makes my skin look and feel better. On top of that, the whole Nutritive Végétal collection has really pleasant soothing fragrance I personally really like.

Това определено е любимата ми хидратираща маска с отмиване. Използвам я около година и пак ще си я купя когато я изразходя. Мисля, че хората като мен, които страдат от сухота ще я харесат, защото веднага прави кожата да изглежда и да се чувства по-добре. Освен това, цялата Nutritive Végétal колекция има много приятен успокояващ аромат, който аз много харесвам.

The Creamy Repair Mask is one of my favorite masks ever. At first I didn't think it would be something I would love so much and I picked it on a whim to get the free gift with the purchase but I am really glad that I got it. What I like: Affordable (13,90€) Convenient pretty packaging Huge amount of product (75 ml)  Easy to use  Leaves skin super soft and hydrated Has long term benefits  Pleasant fragrance  What I don't like:  - All in all: 5/5 Have you tried Yves Rocher's masks and which one would you recommend? I have also used the 3 Minute Cranberry Cooling Effect Mask which I really like and I plan to get it again. I really love Tradition de Hammam Moroccan Clay Mask which will be reviewed sometimes soon.

REVIEW: Vivant Skincare Rejuv Rx Peptide Concentrate

I promised to talk to you about skincare so I today I am showing you Vivant Skincare's Rejuv Rx which is peptide concentrate. This serum was sent to my by the brand by accident (I received another blogger's package together with mine). Nevertheless this serum is suitable for my skin type so I decided to give it a go. I started using this serum 3 months after introducing Vivant Skincare's Spin Trap which is their vitamin C serum. The product costs $56 on Amazon, sold by Vivant Skin Care and it contains 29,6 ml of serum. The product is 2 times more expensive on Vivant Skincare's official site and I can't explain why. The packaging is really "nerdy-looking" and I quite like it however after months of use and storage on my shelves the labels started to fade.

This serum uses Alcohol Denat as a solvent which might be irritating for some people. My skin doesn't really like the alcohol in some products but I was fine with this one and it didn't cause my any dryness or irritation. Due to the alcohol this serum is really thin and it gets absorbed really quickly. Propylene Glycol is a solvent, moisturizer and a viscosity control agent. Ethoxydiglycol is a solvent and a viscosity control agent. Glycerin is a solvent and a moisturizer. Steareth-20 is an emulsifier and a surfactant. N-hydroxysuccinimide improves peptide bonds and it stimulates the elimination of blood originated pigments such as hemoglobin, bilirubin, biliverdin, iron. N-hydroxysuccinimide helps helps eliminate the iron. Chrysin has the same function, it's an anti-inflammatory agent that stimulates the enzyme responsible for bilirubin elimination, the effect is shown in the study I link next. You can see here in this clinical study information for similar product with the same ingredients that N-hydroxysuccinimide and Chrysin are both effective as anti dark circle ingredients. Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 are a blend of several fatty and amino acids. They are used in skincare for their anti-aging properties and they might be involved in the regeneration of collagen fibers. Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 also has been shown to reduce skin inflammation. Sodium Lactate is a moisturizer, an exfoliant, a pH adjuster and a preservative. Sodium PCA is a derivative of the amino acid proline and it's used as a moisturizer. It's extremely water absorbent and it can hold its weight in water several times. PCA is an important part of the acid mantle (what "holds" the skin cells together) and it helps preserve it due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Glycine is a buffering agent and a pH adjuster as listed in this study. Fructose is a moisturizer. Urea is a moisturizer that has anti-inflammatory properties, it could be irritating for some people. Niacinamide is used as a whitening ingredient that improves skin tone and skin texture. Inositol is a derivative of vitamin B and it's humectant. Sodium Benzoate is a preservative. Lactic Acid is an AHA and it has exfoliating and whitening properties. I found a really interesting study that shows that treatment with a serum containing palmitoyl peptides, niacinamide and retinyl propionate has the same effect in terms of reducing wrinkles, improving skin texture and evenness of skin tone than 0,02% tretinoin. The study shows that people using the peptide/niacinamide/retinyl propionate serum had less adverse such as dryness, erythema, itchiness and peeling. You can find the ingredients in cosDNA here.

This serum has quite the interesting ingredients and after 3 weeks of use I skin looked more even and while I was using it I got rid of the annoying hyperpigmentation staying behind after some pimples much quicker. I also noticed my under-eye area looked much better after I started using this which is not surprising because some of the ingredients target dark circles specifically. The texture of this serum is really lovely, it's super thin and watery and it gets absorbed super quickly so I can slap my next product right away. It was quite heavily fragranced, and it smelled like violets to me. This serum was super economical as I have been using it for more than 9 months non stop and I am just about to finish it.

Серумът има доста интересни съставки и след 3 седмици употреба тенът ми изглеждаше по-равномерен, а докато го ползвах досадната хиперпигментация оставяща след някои пъпки се махаше много по-бързо. Забелязах и че зоната под очите изглеждаше много по-добре след като започнах употреба, което не е учудващо, тъй като някои от съставките са точно срещу черни кръгове. Текстурата на серума е много приятна, много е лек и воднист и се абсорбира страшно бързо, така мога веднага да нанеса следващия продукт. Доста силно е парфюмиран, и за мен ухае на виолетки. Серумът е супер икономичен и го използвам повече от 9 месеца нон стоп и в момента тъкмо ще го привърша.

Even though I saw really good results with it I will not be repurchasing it because it's quite pricey and I'm going to look for something cheaper with similar effect. Keep in mind, I had pretty good skin with minimal issues, especially since I was using the vitamin C serum beforehand so I didn't see anything drastic. If you have visible wrinkles or rough texture you might see better results than me.

Въпреки че видях много добри резултати с него няма да го купя отново, защото е доста скъп и ще си потърся нещо по-евтино със сходен ефект. Имайте предвид, че аз имах доста добра кожа с минимални проблеми, благодарение на серума с витамин C, който бях ползвала преди това, така че не видях нищо драстично. Ако имате видими бръчки и груба текстура, може би ще видите по-добри резултати от мен.

Would I recommend this? If you have the budget and you'd like to try something effective against dark circles, hyperpigmentation and wrinkles, yes. Personally, I don't have the budget to repurchase this but I will definitely try to find something with similar ingredients. What I like: Beautiful packaging  Good amount of product (29,6 ml)  Very economical (roughly 9 months of everyday use)  Really good ingredients  Easily absorbed formula  Helps with dark circles and hyperpigmentation  Pleasant fragrance  What I don't like:  Very expensive ($56)  All in all: 4/5  I spent several hours researching the different ingredients today because I wanted to share with you information that's as scientifically accurate as possible. My boyfriend found it quite funny that while he was doing research for his master all day I was reading articles... to do a cosmetic review in my blog. xD Share your favorite serum with niacinamide and/or peptides with me!

REVIEW: theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer

Today's review will be about one of the most popular highlighters out there. the Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer is became a blogger favorite 3 years ago and I had the chance to pick up mine last winter.

The full price is 21,50€ in France and it contains 8,5 g of product. However I had some points in Birchbox and I only paid 5€ for it so I got a pretty good deal!

theBalm are known for their retro packaging which honestly I don't fancy at all and if it wasn't for the packaging I would have picked up some other products by them, like their eyeshadow palettes. I am also considering getting Mary's sister Cindy-Lou Manizer but since I have a lot of highlighters I am not planning to do it right now.

The first ingredient is Mica, a mineral common in powders and highlighters because it's one of the ingredients use for glitter. Isoeicosane is an emollient. Polyethylene is a viscosity control agent. Boron Nitride is a compound used in makeup as an oil absorbent and as an agent dispersing the light which gives face powders and highlighters their pore hiding effect. Polyisobutene is a viscosity control agent. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) also known as Teflon is used as a binding agent. Silica is a viscosity control agent often used in powders. Synthetic wax is an antistatic, emollient and viscosity control agent. Dimethicone is an ingredient used to give products a nice silky finish, it's an emollient. Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) and Iron Oxides (CI 77491) are pigments. You can find the ingredients on cosDNA here. The ingredients list is really simple and everything scores green.

The highlighter comes with a really big mirror which is really convenient to do your makeup with. The packaging is really easy to maintain clean-looking. The product however is not travel-friendly because mine started falling apart until recently when it got completely shattered. I manage to fix it with alcohol but it's not still not stable now and also it isn't as well pressed and if I am not careful the brush will pick up more product than necessary.

Хайлайтърът пристига с много голямо огледало, което е много удобно за гримиране. Опаковката много лесно се поддържа чисто изглеждаща. Продуктът обаче, не е много подходящ за пътуване, защото моят започна да се разпада, а наскоро и напълно се разби. Успях да го оправя с алкохол, но и сега също не е стабилен, а и не е толкова добре пресован вече, и ако не внимавам с четката, загребвам повече от необходимото.

Mary-Lou Manizer's shade is slightly on the warmer side on my neutral skin but I think it will be suitable for any skin tone. The product is really pigmented and a little goes a long way. I've been using it for more than 9 months now and you absolutely can't tell.

Цветът на Mary-Lou Manizer е по-скоро топъл на моята неутрална кожа, но мисля, че ще подхожда на всички цветове кожа. Продуктът е много пигментиран и малко количество стига за много дълго време. Използвам моя от 9 месеца и въобще не си личи.

This highlighter is definitely suitable for everyone who doesn't like the disco ball effect. I don't mind a little bit more glitter and shine but Mary-Lou is my go to for everyday makeup. It combines well with all of my blushes.

Хайлайтърът определено е подходящ, за всички, които не харесват ефекта диско топка. Аз нямам против да си блестя, но Mary-Lou е ежедневният ми халайтър. Комбинира се много добре със всичките ми ружове.

Because the shade is so similar to my skin tone if I am applying it in a darker room, it's possible to overdo it and get shocked when I check my makeup outside. The product is super long-lasting, due to its silky formula it sticks very well to the skin and it lasts all day.

I would highly recommend this to everyone starting out with highlighters and looking for something inoffensive. Mary-Lou gives a beautiful healthy glow but it doesn't make everyone insistingly stare at your face if applied correctly.

Силно бих препоръчала на всички, които тепърва откриват хайлайтърите и си търсят нещо по-леко. Mary-Lou придава красив здравословен блясък, но не кара всички да ви зяпат настойчиво в лицето, ако е нанесен правилно.

Personally, I am very happy I ordered Mary-Lou Manizer, I use it really often. The quality is great, except for the part where the product is really fragile and you can't carry it around. The major difference I find between the lower end highlighters I am using and Mary-Lou is that they are not as long-lasting. What I like: Reasonable price for a high end product (21,50€)  Huge amount of product (8,5 g) Super economical Easy to store and maintain clean packaging Big mirror included  The product has close to neutral undertone Really easy to apply  Gives beautiful healthy glow  Super long-lasting (>8h) What I don't like:  The packaging is not my style  All in all: 4,7/5 This would have easily been a 5/5 if I liked the packaging, but if you like retro stuff, you'll probably adore it.  I heard the Becca highlighters are the next big thing and the brand just got introduced in Sephora so I am planing to check them out.
