REVIEW: Purederm Red Ginseng Essence Mask

I am deep into the AB (Asian Beauty!) sheetmasking even if I don't do it everyday because of lack of time, I still use more masks than I can ever show you in this blog. I chose to show you this particular mask by Purederm called Red Ginseng Essence Mask because I've purchased it more than 5 times for the past 3 years and I really like it.

Избрах да ви покажа маската Red Ginseng Essence Mask на Purederm, защото съм си я взимала над 5 пъти през последните 3 години и много ми харесва.

Purederm is a Korean brand that you can find in the German drugstore DM... which we don't have in France and that's really saddening. They offer really huge variety of sheet masks most of which aren't even imported in Europe. Their masks are really affordable, they cost about 1€ in Bulgaria. Of course if you order online you can find them for much cheaper. You can check my review for Purederm Firming Lift Coenzyme Q-10 Mask which I also liked even if it didn't smell so good.

Предлагат огромно разнообразие от памучни маски, повечето от които не се внасят в Европа. Маските им са много достъпни и струват около 2 лв в България. Естествено, ако поръчате онлайн, могат да се намерят далеч по-евтино. One of the main reasons I love this so much is because it smells like ginseng. I know a lot of people don't like it because it's very particular herbal smell but for me it feels very calming. I use sheet masks mostly for moisture boost as well as some instant brightening. They're really miraculous for stressful periods where my skin gets dull.

Една от основните причини да харесвам маската толкова много е аромата на женшен. Знам, че доста хора не я харесват, защото е много специфична билкова миризма, но аз я намирам за много успокояваща. Използвам памучни маски най-вече за повече хидратация и моментно избистряне. Чудотворни са за стресиращи периоди когато кожата ми изглежда уморена.

The top ingredients is Glycerin which is a moisturizer. PEG/PPG-18/4 Copolymer is synthetic solvent but I honestly couldn't find much about it. Panax Ginseng Root Extract is a wonderful ingredient used for its anti-aging properties in traditional Asian medicine for centuries. I read a study that shows it reduces the cell damage caused by the UVB, which are the main reason for photo-aging. I am not sure at all that Phyto Collagen is beneficial in topical products since I didn't find a single scientific evidence confirming it but it's not dangerous for sure. Erythritol is an alcohol used as a humectant and moisturizer. Xanthan Gum is a natural thickener produced by a bacteria. Hamamelis Virginiana Extract is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Tocopheryl Acetate is a form of Vitamin A, known to be beneficial against anti-aging but it's very photo unstable and it has to be used at night. PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil and PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil are both surfactants. Allantoin is a whitening ingredient I personally love. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate is also known as licorice root extract which is a very multifunctional ingredient proven to be anti-inflammatory, moisturizing as well as whitening. PEG-14M is synthetic emulsifier. Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben and Phenoxyethanol are the preservatives.

PEG/PPG-18/4 Copolymer е синтетичен солвент, но аз не можах да намеря много за него. Panax Ginseng Root Extract е чудесна съставка използвана от векове заради анти-ейдж свойствата си в традиционната азиатска медицина. Прочетох проучване, което показва, че намалява увреждането на клетките от UVB, които са основната причина за фотостареенето. Не съм сигурна, че Phyto Collagen има ефект нанесен повърхностно, но не е вреден със сигурност. Erythritol е алкохол използван като овлажнител и хидратант. Xanthan Gum е естествен сгъстител, който се произвежда от бактерия. Hamamelis Virginiana Extract е известен с противовъзпалителните си свойства. Tocopheryl Acetate е форма на витамин А, който подпомага борбата с фотостареенето, но е много фото нестабилен и трябва да се ползва вечер. EG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil и PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil са сърфактанти. Allantoin е избелваща съставка, която аз лично обожавам. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate е известен и като екстракт от женско биле, който е много мултифункционална съставка с доказани противовъзпалителни  и избелващи свойства,  както и хидратант. PEG-14M е синтетичен емулсифиант. Disodum EDTA, Methylparaben и Phenoxyethanol са консерванти.

The formula of this inexpensive sheet mask is very good and contains a lot of beneficial ingredients. I had several unsuccessful shots of me wearing the mask but I decided I will spare you and not scare you to death. As always the fit is rather poor, this mask is way too big for my face, much wider than it should be while it is too small on my nose. Apparently for the Asians I have a tiny tiny face with a huge nose, good to know! The essence is runny and transparent, there is really a lot of it so now I just do a small cut on the top of the mask which I later seal with a bobby pin and this way I can easily use it twice. I didn't experience any itching or stinging with it. And it smells ah-mazing! xD This is how my skin looks on the next morning before I applied my usual skincare routine. I think the results are pretty good, my face looks brightened and moisturized. What I like:  Inexpensive (around 1€)  Possible to be found locally some places in Europe Lots of essence  Brightens and moisturizes  Really good ingredients  Really pleasant fragrance  What I don't like:  Not that much of a good fit  All in all: 4,9/5 This sheet mask is one of my all time favorites, it really corresponds on what I expect after using a sheet mask. I can only recommend it to you... If you don't mind the strong ginseng fragrance.

Формулата за толкова евтина маска е много добра и съдържа доста полезни съставки. Имах няколко неуспешни снимки на мен с маската и реших да ви пощадя и да не ви плаша до смърт. Както винаги, не пасва особено добре, маската е твърде голяма за лицето ми, много по-широка отколкото трябва да бъде, докато на носа ми е малка. Явно за азиатците имам невероятно малко лице с огромен нос, добре да се знае! Есенцията е течна и прозрачна и има наистина много от нея, затова вече правя малък разрез отгоре на маската, който после запечатвам с фибичка и така мога да я ползвам два пъти. Не съм усещала щипане или парене с нея. А ароматът е невероятен! xD Така изглежда кожата ми на следващия ден преди да нанеса грижата си за кожата. Мисля, че резултатите са доста добри, лицето ми изглежда избистрено и хидратирано. Какво ми харесва:  Евтина (около 2 лв)  Може да бъде намерена на някои места в Европа Много есенция Избистря и хидратира Много добри съставки Много приятен аромат Какво не ми харесва:  Не пасва особено добре на лицето Обща оценка: 4,9/5 Тази памучна маска ми е една от любимите и отговаря точно на това, което очаквам след употребата на памучна маска. Мога само да ви я препоръчам... ако не ви пречи силният аромат на женшен.
